A live product for studios and schools that run on schedules, enrollments, and tuition — restructured from a monolith into modern services without taking the business offline.

The situation

Years of server-side processing lived in a single deployable. The UI was a jQuery estate. Integrations still spoke SOAP and XSLT. Every change was a release risk, and the product could not pause for a rewrite.

What we did

Deep restructure onto a modern PHP framework (Laravel) while production stayed up.
Frontend migration from a legacy jQuery UI to Angular.
Monolithic server-side data processing extracted into independent microservices.
Legacy SOAP/XSLT endpoints replaced with structured REST/JSON APIs.

Where it landed

The platform kept serving class-based businesses through a multi-year modernization. New work shipped against clean API boundaries instead of a single fragile core.
