Distribution & manufacturing
Three-sided corporate ordering network
An order lifecycle that starts with a distributor anywhere in the world and ends on a factory floor — three purpose-built sites, one system, years of production ownership.
The situation
Bulk ordering, corporate administration, and factory production were the same business process wearing three different jobs. A single generic portal would have failed all of them. The stack was classic .NET on Windows Server, and it had to keep running.
What we did
- Administration site — full product-order control on the corporate side.
- Distributor site — a simplified catalog and ordering UI for partners worldwide.
- Manufacturer site — the production lifecycle after an order is sent to the factory.
- Ongoing ownership of legacy .NET applications and the Windows Server environments they ran on.
Where it landed
One order could travel from a distributor catalog to a factory schedule without forcing three audiences through the same screen. The system stayed in production for years.
